This tutorial is made in PSP X, Animation Shop and the plug-ins:

Texturizer

VM Naturial

Materials

1 Open the tube with the rose, remove the water-mark.

2 Shift – D to duplicate the rose(This rose 2)

3 Use your eraser to erase the leaves and stalk.( we just need the rose)

4 Edit – copy.

5 Put your

foreground colour to: #eae5c9.

Background colour to: #bbb171.

Make your foreground colour a gradient with these settings:

6 Open a new image 600 X 400 pixels – transparent.

7 Fill this image with the gradient.

8 Layers – new raster layer.

9 Selections – select all.

10 Edit – paste into selection ( The Rose)

11 Selections – select none.

12 Put the blend mode to: soft light.

13 Effects – Texture effects – Texture – blinds with these settings:

14 Layers – merge – merge visible.

15 Put this aside and open a new image 275 X 300 pixels – transparent.

16 Fill with the same gradient as step 5.

17 Effects – Texture – Texturizer with these settings:

18 Back to the original rose tube

Image – resize – 62% - bicubic – all layers checked.

19 Copy and paste as new layer on your 275 X 300 image.

20 Move the rose down.( see example)

21 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with these settings:

22 Image – add borders – 2 pixels – colour: #6a6332 – symmetric.

23 Copy this image.

24 Open again your background image (600 X 400), make with Shift – D a copy, and put this copy aside.

25 Paste the image with the rose as new layer, move the rose to the left.

26 Give twice the same drop shadow as step 21 but the second time

Vertical and Horizontal on -5.

27 Layers – new raster layer.

28 Turn your fore and background colour.( dark colour is now foreground)

29 Open your airbrush and search in the menu for White Rose, put the brush beside the rose and click once.

30 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with these settings:

31 Layers – new raster layer.

32 Search now in the menu from the airbrush for Troses05 – Put the size to 250.

33 Put the brush under the text.

34 Give the same drop shadow as the text.

35 Image – add borders – 2 pixels – colour: #6a6332 – symmetric.

36 Select the border with the magic wand – tolerance and feather: 0.

37 Selection – invert.

38 effects – 3D effects – cut out with these settings:

39 Image – add borders – 25 pixels – colour: black – symmetric.

40 Select the border with the magic wand – tolerance and feather: 0.

41 Open your early made background image (step 24), copy

42 Back to your creation and paste into selection.

43 Selection – invert.

44 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 21

45 Repeats this drop shadow but now Vertical and Horizontal on -5.

46 Image – add borders – 2 pixels – colour: #6a6332 – symmetric.

47 Put your water-mark on your creation.

 

Now we’re going to put the sparkle on the rose.

 

48 Open your selection-tool – rectangle – feather: 0.

49 Make a rectangle around the rose.

50 Duplicate your image four times in your layer-palette.

51 Effects – plug-ins – VM natural with these settings:

52 Repeats this effects with all layers but by every layer change random seed.

53 Selections – select none.

54 Save your image as PSPimage.

55 Open Animation Shop and open your saved image.

When your are satisfied…..

56 maybe resize your image – Animation – resize animation.

57 Save as ……………
