This tutorial is made in PSP X, Animation Shop and the plug-in:

Deformation

Materials

1 Open a new image – 650 X 450 pixels – transparent.

2 Put your foreground colour to gradient:

Gradient: MGTourmaline

Angle: 45

Repeats: 0

Invert: unchecked

Style: linear.

Fill your image with it.

3 Effects – texture effects – texture with these settings:

4 Layers – new rasterlayer.

5 Selections – select all.

6 Open the flower tube and paste into selection.

7 Selections – select none.

8 Move the flowers down.( see example)

9 Duplicate this layer in your layer-palette.

10 Activate the first flower layer.(raster2)

11 Image – resize – 150% - bicubic – all layers unchecked.

12 Activate the upper layer and duplicate this layer.

13 Go back to that layer.( copy of raster2)

14 Image – resize – 120% - bicubic – all layers unchecked.

15 Activate again the upper layer.

16 Edit – paste as new layer.( the tube is still in your memory or else copy again)

17 Layers – merge – merge all.

18 Shift D to make a copy for later.

19 Layers new rasterlayer.

20 Open your selection-tool – choice selection – click on custom selection.

Fill in these settings:

21 Fill the selection with the gradient from step 2 but set angle on 0.

22 Selections – select none.

23 Put the opacity of this layer on 40%.

24 Duplicate this layer in your layer-palette.

Move this line a little to the left.

25 Duplicate now this layer in your layer-palette.

Now move this line a little to the left.

26 Layers  - new rasterlayer.

27 Open again the selection-tool and custom selection with these settings:

28 Fill the selection with white.

29 Selections – modify – contract – 1 pixel.

30 Press once on your delete key.

31 Layers – new rasterlayer.

32 Fill again the selection with white.

33 Selections – select none.

34 Put the blend mode on Luminance ( legacy) and the opacity on 36%.

35 Layers – new raster layer.

36 Set the angle of the gradient back to 45.

37 Open your airbrush with these settings:

38 Put the brush in the white aria and click a view times.

39 Image – add borders – 2 pixels – colour: #a23670 – symmetric.

40 Image – add borders – 25 pixels – colour: white – symmetric.

41 Select the border with your magic wand – tolerance and feather: 0.

42 Open the copy of the background, and copy.

43 Back to the edge and paste into selection.

44 Effects – plug-ins - Deformetions – Mosaοque de verre – standard settings.

45 Effects – edge effects – enhance.

46 Effects – 3D effects – outer bevel with these settings:

47 Repeats this bevel.

48 Selections – select none.

49 Image – add borders – 2 pixels – colour: #a23670 – symmetric.

50 Open the tube “buuterfly1, copy and paste as new layer.

51 Image – resize – 55% - bicubic – all layers unchecked.

52 Image – free rotate – 15 degrease – right.

53 Move the butterfly right on your image.( see example).

54 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with these settings:

55 Open the tube of the other butterfly, copy and paste as new layer.

56 Image – resize – 50% - bicubic – all layers unchecked.

57 Image – free rotate – 15 degrease – left.

58 Move the butterfly left on your image.( see example).

59 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 54.

60 Layers – merge – merge all.

61 Image – resize – 75% - bicubic – all layers checked.

62 Put your water-mark on your creation and copy.

63 Open Animation-Shop and paste as new animation.

64 Click 7 times on the keys Ctrl/Shift L.( you now have 8 images)

65 Edit – select all.

66 Open the heart animation.

67 edit – select all.

68 Edit – copy.

69 Edit – paste in selected frame.

Put the hearts on his spot.

70 File – save as……..
