This tutorial is made in PSP X and with the plug-in:

Filters Unlimited 2.0

Materials.

1 Open a new image 650 X 450 pixels - transparent.

2 Put your foreground color on: #410303 and your background color on: black.

3 Fill your image with black.

4 Effects - plug-ins - filters Unlimited 2.0 – render – clouds (fore- and background color) with standard settings.

5 Layers - new raster layer.

6 Selections - select all.

7 Open the tube with the tree, copy and paste into selection.

8 Selections - select none.

9 Put the blend modes of this layer on: Hard Light and the opacity on 73%.

10 Open the tube with the moon, copy and paste as new layer.

11 Image - resize - 75% - bicubic - all layers unchecked.

12 Move the moon up and to the right.

13 Put the blend modes of this layer on: Hard Light and the opacity on 75%.

14 Open the tube with the gate, copy and paste as new layer.

15 Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize with these settings:

Hue: 255

Saturation: 255

16 Image - resize - 75% - bicubic - all layers unchecked.

17 Move the gate down and to the right.

50 pixels away from the edge

18 Open your eraser with these settings:

19 Erase the part of the gate by the tree. ( see example)

20 Put the opacity on 40%

21 Open the tube with the girl, copy and paste as new layer.

22 Move the girl to the left side of the tree.

23 Put the blend modes of this layer on: Luminance (legacy)

24 Open the tube with the smokedevil, copy and paste as new layer.

25 Image - resize - 75% - bicubic - all layers unchecked.

26 Move the devil on the end of the smoke by the girl. ( see example)

27 Put the blend modes of this layer on: Luminance (legacy) and the opacity on 51%.

28 Layers - merge - merge all.

29 Adjust - softness - soft focus with these settings:

30 Image - add borders - 10 pixels - color: white - symmetric.

31 Select the border with your magic wand - tolerance and feather: 0.

32 Fill the border with the foreground color. (#410303)

33 Effects - 3D effects - inner bevel with these settings:

34 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with these settings:

35 Repeats this drop shadow but now vertical and horizontal on -4.

36 Selections – select none.

37 Put your foreground color on: black and je background color on: #b79e9e.

Open your text-tool with these settings:

font: 106 Beats That

Size: 40 pixels.

Bold: checked.

Stroke width: 1,0

Create as: floating.

Type: Have a scary day

38 Move the text down and to the right.

39 Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow with these settings:

40 Selections – select none.

41 Put your water-mark on your creation
