This tutorial is made in PSP X.

Materials

1 Open a new image 650 X 450 pixels – transparent.

2 Fill the image with the colour: #000040.

3 Layers – new raster layer.

4 Fill this layer with the colour: #c0c0ff.

5 Layers – load/save mask – load mask from disk with these settings:

6 Layers – merge – merge group.

7 Layers – new raster layer.

8 Open your selection tool and click on custom selection.

And fill in these settings:

9 Fill the selection with the colour: white.

10 Selections – select none.

11 Put the opacity of this layer on 30%.

12 Duplicate this layer in your layer-palette.

13 Image – mirror.

14 Image – resize – 75% - Bicubic – all layers unchecked.

15 Effects – texture effects – blinds with these settings:

16 Open the image: Romantic-Melody.

17 Image – resize – 50% - Bicubic – all layers unchecked.

18 Image – add borders – 2 pixels – colour: #424282 – symmetric.

19 Edit – copy and paste as new layer on your creation.

20 Layers – arrange – move down.

21 Effects – image effects – offset with these settings:

22 Select the light bleu border with the magic wand (Tolerance and feather: 0)

23 Effects – texture effects – blinds with the same setting as step 15.

24 Selections – select none.

25 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with these settings:

26 Repeats this drop shadow.

27 Activate the upper layer.

28 Open the tube with the woman, copy and paste as new layer.

29 Image – resize – 75% - Bicubic – all layers unchecked.

30 Move the tube down and to the left. (see example)

31 Open the accents tube, activate raster 8 in your layer-palette, copy and paste

As new layer on your creation.

32 Move the accents down and to the right.(see example)

33 Give twice the same drop shadow as step 25.

34 Duplicate this layer in your layer-palette.

35 Image – flip.

36 Move the accent a little higher.

37 Image – add borders – 2 pixels – colour: white – symmetric.

38 Select the border with the magic wand (Tolerance and feather: 0).

39 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 25.

40 Repeats this drop shadow but now with vertical and horizontal on -4.

41 Selections – select none.

42 Open your text-tool with these settings:

Background colour: #c0c0ff.

Font: Copperplate Gothic Light

Size: 28 Pixels

Bold: Checked

Stroke width: 0

Create as: Floating.

Type: Romantic Melody or a text of your choice.

Move the text to his spot.

43 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 25.

44 Repeats this drop shadow.

45 Put your water-mark on your creation.

Save as ……..
