This tutorial is made in PSP X and Animation Shop.

Materials

1 Open a new image – 650 x 450 pixels – transparent.

2 Fill the image with the colour: #400040.

3 Layers – new rasterlayer.

4 Fill this layer with the colour: #a893a6.

5 Layers – load/save mask – load mask from disk with these settings:

6 Layers – merge – merge all.

7 Effects – edge effects – enhance more.

8 Selections – load/save selections from disk – load selection from disk – search in the menu for the selection: BJ_purplerain1.

9 Effects – 3D effects – outer bevel with these settings:

10 Effects – art media effects – brush strokes with these settings:

11 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with these settings:

12 Selections – select none.

13 Selections - load/save selections from disk – load selection from disk – search in the menu for the selection: BJ_purplerain2.

14 Effects – texture effects – fine leather with these settings:

15 Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow with the same settings as step 11.

16 Selections – select none.

17 Open the tube “CityScape ‘, copy and paste as new layers.

18 Put the blend mode on Luminance ( legacy) and the opacity to 60%.

19 Open the tube with the woman, copy and paste as new layers.

20 Image – resize – 75% - bicubic – all layers unchecked.

21 Move the lady down (see example)

22 Put the blend mode on Luminance ( legacy).

23 Image – add borders – 2 pixels – colour: # 400040 – symmetric.

24 Put your background colour on #a893a6.

25 Open your text-tool with these settings:

Font: GE Adina Script

Size: 48 pixels

Bold – checked

Stroke width: 0

Create as: Floating

26 Type: Purple Rain

27 Image – free rotate – 10 degrease – left.

28 Move the text to his spot.

29 Selections – select none.

30 Put your water-mark on your creation.

31 Copy your creation.

32 Open animation shop

33 Click 14 times on the key’s Ctrl/Shift L.(you now have 14 images).

34 Edit – select all.

34 Open PurpleRain Ani. – edit – select all.

35 Edit – copy.

36 Activate your creation.

Edit – paste – in selected frame.

37 Put the animation up in the left corner.

38 Activate again the animation

39 Animation – mirror.

40 Animation – flip.

41 Edit – copy

42 Activate again your creation

Edit – paste – in selected frame.

43 Save as ………….
