This tutorial is made in PSP X and with the plug-ins:

Eye Candy 4000

Xero

Materials

1 Open a new image 650 X 450 pixels - transperent.

2 Put your foreground colour on: Black and your background colour on: #808080.

Make your foreground colour a gradient with these settings:

Fill the image with the gradient.

3 Effects - plug-ins - Eye Candy 4000 – Smoke with these settings:

4 Effects - plug-ins - Eye Candy 4000 – Motion Trail with these settings:

5 Duplicate this layer in your layer-palette.

6 Image - mirror

7 Put the opacity on 50%

8 Layers - merge - merge all.

9 Layers - promote background layer.

10 Layers - new raster layer.

11 Fill also this layer with the gradient from step 2.

12 Layers - arrange - move down.

13 Activate the upper layer and put the opacity on 50%.

14 Open the tube with the moon, copy and paste as new layer.

15 Move the moon to the rightside of your image.

16 Put the opacity on 75% and de blendmode on: Luminantie (legacy).

17 Open the tube with the tree, copy and paste as new layer.

18 Image - resize - 120% - bicubic - all layers unchecked.

19 Move the tube to the left, so it looks like the tree is standing on the edge.

20 Put the blend mode on: Luminantie (legacy).

21 Open the tube with the eyes, copy and paste as new layer.

22 Move the eyes to the top.

23 Open the tube with the girl, copy and paste as new layer.

24 Put her down on your creation.(see example)

25 Layers - new raster layer.

26 Put your foreground colour on: Black.

27 Open your brushes and search in the menu for the brush: child of darker skies.

Put the size of this brush on 250 pixels, the other settings are ok.

Put the brush down in the left corner and click once.

28 Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow with these settings:

29 Layers - new raster layer.

30 Search now in the brush menu for the brush: nightchild.

Put the size of this brush on 280 pixels, the other settings are ok.

Put the brush on the right sode of your image and click once.

31 Image - add borders - 2 pixels - colour: black - symmetric.

32 Effects - plug-ins - Xero - Porcelain with the standard settings.

33 Image - resize - 80% - bicubic - all layers checked.

34 Image - add borders - 20 pixels - colour: #808080 - symmetric.

35 Select the border with the magic wand - tolerance and feather: 0

36 Effects - plug-ins - Xero - Serious Fog with the standard settings.

37 Effects - Art Media Effects - Brush strokes with these settings:

38 Selections - invert.

39 Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow with the same settings as step 27 only change

the colour from white in black.

40 Repeats the drop shadow but now with vertical and horizontal on -5.

41 Selections - select none.

42 Image - add borders - 2 pixels - colour: black - symmetric.

43 Now only your water-mark on your creation and your done.
